Sealing elements
This group includes a wide range of various types of shaped sealing elements used in numerous fields. The main types of sealing elements are, for example, O-rings, X-rings, sleeves, scraper rings, shaft sealing rings, V-rings.
Overview of sealing elements
-
O-rings
An O-ring is a rubber sealing element used for the prevention of undesired leakage or loss of a liquid or gas. It may be used for dynamic as well as static sealing.
-
X-rings
Their main advantage in comparison with common O-rings is their possible use in rotary sealing, higher stability in a filled space, lower radial prestressing in the groove and thus lower friction and wear.
-
Sleeves
Sleeves are among the most important sealing elements of the moving parts of hydraulic and pneumatic devices with straight sliding motion.
-
Scraper rings
Scraper rings serve to scrape impurities from the piston surface, protecting themselves, the medium and the cylinder from damage.
-
Compound piston seal KO3
A five-piece compound seal used for hydraulic systems, with easy assembly on a single-piece (non-segmented) piston.
-
Shaft sealing rings
Shaft sealing rings (HTK) serve to seal moving parts of machinery components and units filled with oil, grease, and other liquids.
-
V-rings
All-rubber axial pressureless sealing elements of rotary shafts and bearings. Wide range of use in mechanical engineering, water treatment devices, rolling mills, etc.
-
Circular profiles
Rubber circular profiles serve mostly in the production of sealing O-rings by gluing, and for sealing lids, flanges, etc.
-
Silicone square profiles
Manufactured with the same technology as silicone tubes, used in special applications where circular profiles or tubes may not be used.
-
Rubber films
A starting material for cutting or clipping various shaped sealing elements, pads, and special parts. May also be used as insulation.
