NEW SKF 24 SYSTEM OF TLSD SERIES - simple single-point electromechanical additional-lubrication unit

In cooperation with SKF Maintenance Products we would like to offer to you new electromechanical additional-lubrication units SKF SYSTEM 24 of the TLSD series, replacing the previous LAGE series.

During August 2013,  after all older LAGE series units in stock have been used up, the stock availability and ordering of the new TLSD series units was activated.

The automatic additional-lubrication units TLSD are direct replacements for the previous LAGER series units with these improvements:

1. Structure
– The new unit is based on the older version with a see-through section for easier control of the plastic lubricant level. The new structure of the supporting flange prevents dust and water from penetrating the space between the unit and the flange.

2. Yellow LED pre-warning
– The signalling of the unit's functioning with a traffic light system has been significantly improved. The LED diodes are now visible from all sides of the unit.
Significance of the individual colour:
- Green light – the unit works correctly.
- Yellow light – the unit is still functional but maintenance is required; the yellow light is a warning.
- Red light – the unit has stopped working.

3. Setting
– Thanks to the see-through top section of the unit the set lubrication interval may be checked easily and without opening the unit. No other device is required for setting the unit. Setting options have been extended so that the interval may be set by a month from 1 to 12 months.

4. Variability
– The same drive unit may be used for both cartridge sizes. Simply turn the switch either to the 125 ml or 250 ml position.

5. Special version for operation at low temperature
– For the LGWM 2 lubricant, suitable for low temperatures, special lithium batteries resistant to -10 °C may be ordered.
