Oils for pneumatic tools
One of the key parameters of the optimal and correct use of a pneumatic tool is correct additional lubrication of distributed air.
- This additional lubrication influences the working life of the pneumatic tools and devices used.
- Correct lubrication of the compressed air may prolong the working life of the tool applied and at the same time reduce repair costs and minimise downtimes.
Oils for pneumatic tools – from our standard suppliers:
OPTIMIZER oil
Optimizer oil made by Atlas Copco is a lubricant based on white oil, designed for pneumatic tools and disk engines.
This oil provides excellent protection against wear and contains additives preventing oxidation and frothing.
Compared to traditional oils for mist lubrication, Optimizer oil for pneumatic tools provides a better working environment and is recommended for environments on which high demands are placed.
- Technical data:
Temperature range: -25 to +70 °C
Density at 15 °C is 869 kg/m3
Viscosity at 40 °C is 22 mm2/s
Congealing point is -48 °C
Flash point COC is higher than 170 °C
Available packaging: 0.5 litre, 1 litre, 4 litres, 10 litres
PNEUMAT oil
Oil for pneumatic tools made by PARAMO, designed for the use in pneumatic tools and machines.
Available in various viscosity levels:
- PNEUMAT 22 – viscosity at 40 °C = 22 mm2/s (equivalent to Optimizer oil made by Atlas Copco), (viscosity index 100, liquidity point -42 °C, flash point OK 218 °C), packing 1 and 10 litres
- PNEUMAT 32 ZF – viscosity at 40 °C = 32 mm2/s, (viscosity index 105, liquidity point -36 °C, flash point OK 200 °C), packing 10 litres, 180 and 850 kg
- PNEUMAT 46 – viscosity at 40 °C = 46 mm2/s, (viscosity index 100, viscosity at -30 °C, flash point OK 238 °C), packing 1 and 10 litres
